Infusing Fabric with Nature’s Essence

It all begins with collecting flowers fallen and ready for a new cycle of life to begin. From death to re-birth, fallen flowers and food scraps marry with up-cycled natural textiles like silk and linen, painting their pigments into patterns of pure unexpected beauty. Each piece is unique. Each piece is fully made of Nature, in reverence for Nature. A reflection of the beauty within us. These are creations designed to bring the essence of nature into the walls of our homes. Reminders of our own true nature, as part of Nature. These are portraits of places, illustrating the connection we are innately drawn to have with the natural world around us.

Drawn to ditch toxic paints and materials for making art, our creator, Emma, only uses elements sourced from Nature along with circular textiles. She uses traditional natural dyeing techniques inspired by her experiences and trainings with artists and experts in Mexico and Guatemala. It is both an art practice as well as an exploration of death and creation cycles, and an ancestral healing practice, paying homage to her British and Chinese heritage.
